Aladdin Panto at Nottingham Playhouse

As I’d seen placement presentations where people in my year group had worked on some of the set pieces of this show I was excited to see this show. I felt that I had a different perspective of the show while it was on because of knowing people that worked on it and I made sure to look at every piece of set even more then I usually do at a show. I really enjoyed the knowledge on the mirror trick in the scene where is was meant to look like the characters had disappeared.

Although aimed at a much younger age group, going with a few girls from the course made is a lot more fun, even as we cringed at the Wishee-washee dab and other current adolescent terms.

Bit disappointed with the ending though with the villain character, Abanazar just deciding he was going to be good but hey, it’s aimed at kids.
